Yesterday I found out that XXXTentacion died and I immediately was like It honestly was surreal because I actually remember the first time I heard "Look At Me." I was obsessed with that song and even turned other people on to it and X himself. I'm the type of person that as soon as I like a new song or artist I go all Inspector Gadget and try to find out everything about them (I'm a Virgo leave me alone). Anyway what I found was fight compilations, interviews of him saying he tried to kill his cellmate for staring at him believing that he was gay, oh and the pictures of the woman he abused. From there I was on the fence about X and wasn't as invested as I was initially. He was still incarcerated and didn't have any other music out. According to  TMZ , the "Dang!" rapper was arrested this morning for a DUI and hit-and-run in the San Fernando Valley. Around 1 A.M, Mac Miller and his friends were driving drunk, hit a pole, and knocked it down. Mac and both of his passengers got out of the car and ran on foot back to Mac's place. A witness led the police to their direction and after running the plates on the "Donald Trump" rapper's 2016 G-Wagon they got Mac's address. After arriving to Mac's house he didn't hesitate to turn himself in and admit to his recklessness. A law enforcement source even says "He was the most polite and nice intoxicated person we've ever seen." His bail is set at $15k and he is still currently behind bars. Rumors are swirling that Big Sean is cheating on the "Sativa" singer with former Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger. According to  The Jasmine Brand : "They both attended an Oscar Awards after-party together and were cozied up together sitting at a table in VIP... Kodak Black has plead not guilty for possession of ammunition and marijuana from his January arrest. On February 22nd the "Tunnel Vision" rapper had his charges of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, child neglect, and grand theft of a firearm dropped. All of these charges stem from an arrest made on January 18th when the sherrif's office raided Kodak's home. The video shows people smoking weed and having handguns around Kodak's son who is a toddler. Kodak is currently being held without bond and seems to be optimistic about his situation. Pedophile  Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was caught in the middle of a scuffle at the LAX airport. The video shows one man coming at Tekashi's crew looking for a fight and they got into it. In the beginning Tekashi seemed to be walking away from the altercation at first, but then came back to "defend" his friends. Turns out he got tripped up and jumped while on the ground. The BET Social Awards  premiered last night and I honestly did not know they were coming on. I only seen the nominees on Twitter I didn't even know when the award show was going to premiere.  I accidentally stumbled upon them because I was watching Kevin Hart's Grown Little Man  comedy special on BET and it came on right after. Just five minutes in and BET was already having technical difficulties. So much glitching that I was starting to think that there was something wrong with my cable box. The show started off with a cute dance number that honestly could've been left at home. Michael Blackson was the host and for a social media award show I expected someone who came up through social media to host it. The Troy Ave v. Taxstone saga continues. Troy just released the music video for his song "2 Legit 2 Quit" where he reveals he's testifying against hip-hop personality and podcaster, Taxstone. The line says "I'm only loyal to my fam/Middle finger from the stand/It's either me or you." During a recent interview with Vulture, Erykah Badu was asked if she can separate an artists' actions with their art. The examples used was XXXTENTACION and Bill Cosby, both who have a known past assaulting women. Badu went on to say that "hurt people hurt people" and questioned why she should be upset with someone who's sick [hurt]. Badu says that she weighs everything and that she has the skill to see the good and the bad.
